Do you happen to own a BMW between the years of 2015 and 2016 which runs a NBTevo ID4 headunit and you're looking to enhance both the graphics as well as add factory Apple CarPlay to your iDrive system to give it a modern refresh? Then do we have the solution for you.
Introducing our NBTevo ID4 to ID6 Flash Update. Take the bland and outdated ID4 interface and revamp it with the far cleaner and slick UI that comes with ID6. On top of that, once your headunit has been flashed with ID6 software, your BMW will now have the capabilities to support FACTORY APPLE CARPLAY (wireless) which offers a whole suite of phone integration and added versatility.
What's included as part of this update:
- ID4 to ID6 Software Flash
- Supply and Installation of genuine BMW WLAN Antenna (required to support wireless Apple CarPlay)
- Factory Apple CarPlay Activation
- Android Screen Mirroring
- Video in Motion Activation
This process is carried out purely via coding using original BMW software and coding files with no physical hardware changes (apart from the additional installation of a WiFi antenna to support wireless Apple CarPlay) meaning this is an OEM-grade upgrade. All original system menus, functions and settings are 100% retained.
Note: This upgrade is ONLY suitable for BMW models which are equipped with a NBTevo ID4 headunit (2015 / 2016). This process CANNOT be carried out on older vehicles or models equipped with different headunits (i.e. CIC, NBT, Entry_Nav).
To ensure compatibility, you can do one of the following:
1) Send us either your vehicle's VIN or reg and we'll check your vehicle's details remotely.
2) Check the iDrive version on your headunit which can be done by following these simple instructions:
Go to Navigation > Press Options > Settings > Position and Version (Must say 'NBTevo')
