NOTE: This is not a display replacement. This will add the above functionality to the vehicle's existing factory display. Please ensure all factory hardware components including the iDrive headunit and display are in working order for this upgrade to operate as intended.

Please note with LCI models equipped with a factory touch display - Whilst using Apple CarPlay, Android Auto or any menus within the Integration Unit's OS, the touch display will not respond to touch inputs as all controls will be limited to the main iDrive controller and steering wheel controls. The factory touch display will still function 100% as per normal when using the original system. Although this may sound like a drawback, using the iDrive controller itself is quite intuitive and easy to use to navigate through Android Auto. If you prefer to retain touch functionality then we suggest considering our upgraded Vivid Touch Display options which will retain touch functionality both in the factory iDrive system as well as when using the new system's OS.
