The affordable way to retrofit wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto into essentially any modern Porsche whilst utilising the factory screen for a 100% like-factory install. This retrofit will turn any compatible PCM system into one which can support both wireless CarPlay and Android Auto without having any cables visible or really any signs that there's been an install carried out. Furthermore these are completely reversible and non-destructive meaning you can always remove it when required without anything being permanently altered.

Benefits of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto include:
- Superior navigation with apps including Waze, Apple Maps and Google Maps which will all be constantly up-to-date, live and offer road warnings such as speed cameras, road works, congestion and accidents.

- Listen to personalised music, playlists or even podcasts straight from Spotify, YouTube Music, Pandora, TuneIn Radio and more.

- Hands-free integration of Siri and Google Assistant allowing you to ask questions including setting navigation routes, reply to text messages or even just asking what the weather is.

- Complete integration with the factory touch display and controls including the PCM buttons, steering wheel controls and factory microphone / Bluetooth system.

Supports factory Bluetooth Audio routing, further adding to the level of integration and retaining original sound quality.

Even with this upgrade fitted - the original Porsche system will continue to fully work 100% without any interruptions or features being lost meaning you can still access all the original menus, service data, settings and all the factory cameras will continue to work as per normal.

Compatible with all Boxster and Cayman models from 2009 onwards including:
- Boxster 981 / 987 (S, Spyder etc.)
- Cayman 981 / 987 (GT4, GTS, R, S etc.)
- 718 Cayman / Boxster

Please state whether your Boxster or Cayman is running PCM3.0, PCM3.1 or PCM4.0 when enquiring. If you may be unsure which system your Porsche is equipped, simply take a photo of the home menu on the infotainment display and we can confirm for you.

NOTE: This is NOT a display or headunit replacement. These add Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to the factory display. Your PCM headunit MUST be fully operational for this to work as intended

    Impressed after 2 months ownership

I've been using this unit for the past 2 months now and so far really enjoying it with what it offers. The navigation is miles better than the original Porsche navigation and the display looks a lot newer with all the colours and apps going on within CarPlay even though it's still the original.

I had it professionally installed by a local automotive installer into my 2014 Cayman S. There were some parts which he said he wasn't clear about but managed to get it in the end. I've not been able to fault the unit so far though but the only small niggle I have would be the PCM system doesn't seem to start on BT audio automatically so you have to change it each time. I think that's more the PCM though as opposed to the CarPlay unit itself. If there was a work around that then it would be 5 for 5.
